Professor Dr. Sigmundur Gudbjarnason

Dr. Gudbjarnason is SagaMedica's director of research.

He is a professor emeritus of biochemistry and former president of the University of Iceland.

In 1992 Dr. Gudbjarnason started research on Icelandic medicinal herbs which led to the founding of SagaMedica in the year 2000.

Thrainn Thorvaldsson

Thrainn is the managing director and co-founder of SagaMedica and has an M.A. degree in marketing from the University of Lancaster in the UK.

He has extensive marketing experience, both on the Icelandic domestic market and in exports to both Europe and N-America, as well as experience in food production.

Elin Oskarsdottir

Elin is assistant to the managing director and has a Cand. Oecon degree in business administration

Magnus Olafsson

Magnus is in charge of accounting and has a Cand. Oecon. degree in business administration

Dr. Steinthor Sigurdsson

Steinthor is a project manager for research at SagaMedica and has a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry.

Perla Björk Egilsdottir

Perla is the director of marketing. Perla has a B.Sc. degree in biochemistry and marketing experience from the pharmaceutical industry.

Kristinn Leifsson

Kristinn is a project manager in the marketing department and has a B.Sc. degree in business administration.

Karl Oskar Vidarsson

Karl is SagaMedica's director of production and has an M.Sc. degree in industrial engineering.
